Anyway, I was present for the briefing at 5pm, and not many of you turned up, so I'm not sure if you actually know what had happened, or what was mentioned during the briefing. Therefore, I'll be posting some details about it and posting the handout given to us.
Main points to be stressed are:
1. we are not supposed to bring expensive or valuable things like jewellery;
2. grooming must be accecptable;
3. we can go to school in jeans straightaway, but must be PE or informal tee;
4. lights out at 10.30pm and no switching of rooms;
5. no toy guns, pornographic materials, swords and knifes, etc;
6. chewing gum cannot be brought into Singapore, but we can eat them there;
7. they prefer you to bring disposable underwear.
*Those people who need to apply for visa to go into Malaysia, you need to do so straightaway, as it would take you about 6 working days to get one.
I can only recall these points now, so people feel free to add on. :D
Well people, this is the camp that we have been waiting for since May, so please be enthusiastic! Though it's a pity that there will be extremely little shopping, but at least we are staying in a 4 star hotel! I heard that s5 are having homestay, so I don't know if ours is better or not, be your own judge. Here's the link:
here. Looks nice, and I reckon we are staying the superior room, which is the only room that offers two beds.
Please reminded to meet at school at 7.15am on 18 Nov.
You are also required to photocopy your passport (meaning the back cover which has your photo and other details on it) and hand it in to Ms Tan on Monday.
That's all, people! Look forward to the cultural exchange trip! :D
